By downloading, installing, or playing Girl Detective, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of the App

Girl Detective is a narrative mystery game that plays out through a simulated group chat and simulated phone screens. It is a work of interactive fiction, played entirely offline on your device.

3. Fictional Content

All characters, names, conversations, photographs, apps, messages, and events depicted in Girl Detective are entirely fictional. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, or to real events is purely coincidental. The simulated phones, messaging apps, and social apps in the game are fictional creations and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any real product or service.

4. Purchases

Any purchase of the app is processed through Apple’s App Store under Apple’s terms. Prices are in the currency of your App Store region and may vary by location. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.

5. Intellectual Property

All content in Girl Detective — including the story, characters, writing, artwork, images, and design — is owned by Mintzi and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any app content without our written permission.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Redistribute or resell app content

7. A Note on Snooping

Girl Detective is a game about going through fictional people’s fictional phones. In real life, accessing someone’s phone or accounts without their permission may be illegal where you live. The game is entertainment, not an endorsement.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Girl Detective is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mintzi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Girl Detective, including but not limited to loss of saved game progress.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The updated version will be indicated by the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which Mintzi operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
