Mintzi (“we,” “us,” or “our”) built Moon Friend as a commercial mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use Moon Friend.
Moon Friend requests access to your device's approximate location (city-level accuracy) solely to calculate moonrise, moonset, and other lunar data for your area. Location data is processed on your device and is not transmitted to our servers or stored remotely. If you decline location access, the app defaults to a preset location and remains fully functional.
We use RevenueCat, a third-party service, to manage subscriptions and purchases. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier and your Apple purchase receipt to verify subscription status. We do not have access to your payment details — all transactions are processed by Apple. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

We do not use any analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. We do not serve advertisements. We do not create user accounts.
All app data — including your subscription status and location preference — is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage (UserDefaults). If you use the Moon Friend home screen widget, subscription status is shared between the app and the widget via an on-device App Group container. No data is synced to external servers.

We do not share or sell your data to any other third parties.
Moon Friend does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Because the app does not collect personal data from any user, it is suitable for general audiences.
Since no personal data is transmitted off your device, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our end. You can reset all local app data by deleting Moon Friend from your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the “Last Updated” date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
